Alpena Alcona Area Credit Union Packages Food for Feeding Kids Ministries
Team members from Alpena Alcona Area Credit Union (AAACU) and their family members recently volunteered their time to package food for Feeding Kids Ministries.
The program assists students of all ages throughout the school year. Every Friday, a gallon-size bag of nonperishable food is placed in the student’s backpack to assist less fortunate families with food for their child over the weekend. With the generosity of the community, the program has been able to expand and help families during the summer months as well.
During the first quarter of 2018, AAACU’s main office is fundraising for Feeding Kids Ministries by selling candy bars, holding raffles and donating to dress down on Fridays. If you would like to make a donation to Feeding Kids Ministry, please stop by the main office or visit the Feeding Kids Ministry website.
