Security Credit Union and Flint Institute of Music Present Holiday Pops
Grand Blanc-based Security Credit Union is celebrating the most wonderful time of the year with the Flint Institute of Music during the annual Holiday Pops concert, Dec. 16-17. The Flint Symphony Orchestra and Flint Symphony Chorus will perform with guest conductor Laura Jackson to present a musical experience that transports audiences to a winter wonderland.
“We’re pleased to continue our partnership with the Flint Institute of Music and enjoy the opportunity to appreciate the performing arts with members of our community,” said Christopher Estes, president and CEO of Security Credit Union.
Tickets for the annual concert are available for purchase at The Whiting’s online box office. Ticket prices range from $12 to $35, including floor seating and mezzanine, middle and upper balcony options.
Adding to the festivities for a second year, community members may celebrate the holiday with craft beer and Christmas cheer, Dec. 16 during Hops & Pops. Beginning at 5 p.m., guests will take a break from busy holiday schedules to enjoy the sounds of Christmas as they sample Michigan craft beer and excellent food offerings courtesy of Flint’s Table & Tap. The Holiday Pops concert will broadcast on a big screen television for attendees to enjoy as they sip and savor.
“The Hops and Pops event pairs two Michigan favorites together for a wonderful weekend of creativity and entertainment,” said Estes. “Security Credit Union is proud to support Michigan’s craft beer industry and small business owners throughout Michigan.”
VIP and general admittance tickets to Hops & Pops are available at the Flint Institute of Music’s online box office. All proceeds from the annual gathering benefit programs at the Flint Institute of Music. Hops and Pops is a community-based event open to guests 21 and up.Go to main navigation
