KALSEE Credit Union Hires Jessica Schauer as Battle Creek Branch Manager

Entering the banking industry in 2008, Schauer most recently served as branch manager for Huntington Bank. Her experience totals six years in management, 13 in customer service and five in banking. Schauer attended Kalamazoo Valley Community College.

Schauer’s passion lies in helping people. While growing up, she witnessed financial hardships firsthand. Schauer approaches members with empathy and compassion. Making her home in Battle Creek, Schauer commits to helping Battle Creek thrive as a safe, lively, growing community for her own future family and those of her members. She support the “Believe in Battle Creek” movement and the “Battle Creek Vision” committee.

Schauer plays softball, and her fiancé coaches football at Olivet College. Her favorite quote is, “You have two hands. One to help yourself, the second to help others.”

KALSEE takes pride in welcoming Schauer to our team, and in putting her leadership and service skills to good use for our Battle Creek branch staff and members.
 

Consumers Credit Union Hires New Mortgage Loan Officers

Chuck Gower (pictured left) has been named to the position of mortgage loan officer of Consumers Credit Union’s Battle Creek and Coldwater offices. He’s been licensed in the business just over a year, but has more than 25 years of experience in professional sales, including time spent in consumer electronics, professional hockey management and in the golf and financial services industries.

“I strive to make sure that when my members make one of their largest financial decisions that I make it fun and stress-free,” the decorated combat Army veteran says. “I have always been client driven and love what I do to help others achieve financial success.”

Consumers has also announced the addition of Charles Young (pictured left) as a mortgage loan officer. Consumer’s Cascade and Gaines offices in Grand Rapids will now be served by seasoned Mortgage Loan Officer Charles Young. Young has more than five years’ experience with a variety of banks and home lending institutions that have provided him with a unique perspective to serve Consumers members.

“I have been able to focus my skills on what it takes to be able to meet a client’s needs and help make their home buying or refinancing experience as enjoyable as possible,” Young says.
