There's Always Room for Improvement When It Comes to Collections
What are the top 12 tips the collection team can be using to improve their collection efforts? This and more will be shared when MCUL hosts the 2018 Telephone Collection School, Nov. 16 at the Dearborn Inn.
Attendees will learn methods that will increase credit union proceeds from deficiency balances, overdraft checking accounts, auto loans, mortgage loans and unsecured loans of all types. The one day session covers every aspect of the collection department and is ideal for new and seasoned collection professionals, as well as management personnel.
Being facilitated by Steve Peterson, founder of Collection Training Consultants, attendees will gain insights into the fundaments of telephone collection, as well as the art of negotiating skills. The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act will be covered, along with tips on skiptracing and how to use the Internet in the collection process.
Still monitoring the collection department solely on percentages? Peterson will also share his innovative techniques for monitoring collectors with methods that will help control delinquency and reduce charge-offs significantly.
Registration is only $169 per person. Hotel rooms are being held at the historic Dearborn Inn, a Marriott Hotel, until Oct. 27 at the negotiated rate of $139 per night, plus applicable taxes.Go to main navigation
