MCCU Appoints New COO
Marshall Community Credit Union recently announced the appointment of Corrie Rozell as the organization’s chief operating officer (COO). Corrie began her career with MCCU in 2008 and most recently served as the credit union’s branch and marketing manager, overseeing both branch operations in Battle Creek as well as being responsible for marketing strategy and operations.
“Corrie is an excellent fit for the COO role at MCCU. She has a strong background in leadership development and the operational side of the organization, and also offers a creative approach to the role of financial institutions in the lives of our members and in our community,” said Heather Luciani, CEO of MCCU. “Her goals of improving the member and employee experience are portrayed in her work and she is regularly looking for opportunities for us to improve as an organization.”
Corrie is graduate of Marshall High School and Western Michigan University. Corrie recently completed CUNA Management School, a three-year program at the University of Wisconsin, where she received the industry’s Certified Credit Union Executive designation.
Corrie is actively involved in the community where she serves on Oaklawn Hospital’s Annual Benefit Auction Committee, volunteers for the Junior Achievement program in local schools, advises students in Albion College’s Gerstacker Institute and participates in many other community projects supported by MCCU. Corrie is a resident of Marshall where she lives with her husband, Eric and their daughter, Ollie.
