DFCU Financial Named One of the Nation’s “Best and Brightest” Companies to Work For
DFCU Financial was recently named a national Best and Brightest Company to Work For by the National Association for Business Resources (NABR) for the fifth year in a row. Of 370 organizations nationwide selected from 1,700 nominations, DFCU is one of only 27 that has won the award five times or more.
“At DFCU Financial, we invest significant resources to attract and develop top-notch talent to better serve our membership,” said Mark Shobe, president and CEO, DFCU Financial. “This achievement gives us credibility with our staff and in the marketplace, and offers a sense of pride among our employees. Awards such as these re-energize us for the new year ahead and give the staff a chance to let us know how we are doing.”
Companies recognized were assessed by key human resources practices and employee-enrichment areas, including compensation, employee education and development, community initiatives, diversity and inclusion and work-life balance.
The Detroit Free Press also named DFCU Financial a “Top Workplace” for the ninth year in a row–an achievement that identifies leading workplaces in the Detroit area based on employee evaluations of categories including working environment, career opportunities and leadership.
For the tenth year, DFCU Financial has been recognized by NABR as one of Metro Detroit’s Best and Brightest Companies to Work For. In 2016, DFCU Financial was also named one of the West Michigan 101 Best & Brightest Companies to Work For.
