Reg Update Planned for Compliance Conference
Michigan credit union compliance professionals will find the latest regulatory updates at the MCUL & Affiliates 2017 Compliance Conference when the event moves to the Marriott at University Place in East Lansing, Feb. 22 & 23.While day-one of the conference focuses on internal fraud issues, day-two is packed with serious content such as "Elder Abuse: Know the Signs, Prevent the Crimes!" The session will identify red flags and define what elder abuse may look like in a credit union, along with sharing the regulatory implications and a quick reference guide to provide to staff.
Featuring plenty of useful networking opportunities, attendees may also opt to attend "Breakfast with the Pros" and a "Lunch and Learn" on how CU PolicyPro works, all included in registration.
Other day-two topics include "Avoid ExCITEment! Update on Cited Exam Compliance Issues" with John Kolhoff, deputy commissioner of Michigan's Department of Insurance and Financial services, along with a session on "More Than A Board: Leveraging Volunteers to Elevate the Credit Union" that will help in structuring a support system for directors as an essential tool to help them focus on leading with guidance from the proper experts.
Registration is $310 per person for the full conference and $169 for one-day.
