  • IRAs: Essentials and Beyond Essentials is coming to Michigan Oct. 4 & 5 at the Bavarian Inn Lodge in Frankenmuth. Day one provides essentials to give attendees a solid foundation of IRA knowledge. Day two goes beyond these essentials to build on the attendees’ knowledge of IRA basics to address some of the more complex IRA issues their credit unions may handle. Registration is $199 per person, per day. Attendees may register for one-day or two.
  • CUNA will host Mortgage Loan Originator training in Lathrup Village on Oct. 18 at Michigan First CU. The session will provide compliance training for the rules issued by the CFPB pursuant to Dodd-Frank amended Regulation Z. The eight-hour MLO training is approved by the National Mortgage Licensing Association and covers federal and state law requirements that relate to the individual loan originator's origination activities. Registration is $299 for affiliated CUNA members and $598 for non-members.
  • On Sept. 1 CUNA will host a webinar on Closing Member Sales with Confidence from 1-2:30 p.m. (ET). Learn how to fulfill member needs, increase exposure to credit union products and services and develop a successful sales culture. This webinar will inspire new sales people, rejuvenate veterans and help integrate non-sales professionals, allowing credit unions to make the most out of every member conversation. Registration is $219 for CUNA members and $438 for non-members.
