Participate in Financial Fitness Day to Win Literacy Resources

Financial Fitness Day, held on April 6, is an annual day dedicated to helping credit union members get in shape financially. It’s also an opportunity for the credit union movement to raise awareness of financial education initiatives, activities and the importance of long-term financial health.

Credit unions can take part in Financial Fitness Day by participating in the National Credit Union Foundation’s Twitter contest. All credit unions need to do to raise funds for NCUF and state credit union foundations is hold a Jeans or Casual Day on April 6 and enter the contest by following a couple simple steps:

  1. Follow NCUF on Twitter at @ncufoundation
  2. Share a picture of your staff and/or members celebrating Financial Fitness Day with the use of the hashtag #FinancialFitnessDay on Twitter

Winners will be pulled from the hashtag at random to receive a complete set of Biz Kid$ DVDs as well as 25 “Money Rules” books to incorporate into their financial education campaigns.

The contest runs all day, April 6, and winners will need to respond within seven days to avoid disqualification. The odds of winning depend on number of entrants received. Multiple entries per organization are allowed.
