Advia Foundation Offers $25,000 in Youth Scholarships

Graduating high school seniors are encouraged to apply for one of twenty-five $1,000 Youth Scholarships provided through the newly formed Advia Foundation to be awarded this spring.

Scholarship criteria include: community involvement, leadership traits, academic accomplishments, and college or trade school acceptance for the 2016 fall semester. The application is available here; deadline to apply is March 31.

In January, Advia Credit Union announced the formation of The Advia Foundation to further its mission of providing financial advantages in the communities it serves. The Advia Foundation will focus on enhancing financial literacy, furthering education and improving overall quality of life for residents living within its service areas in Michigan, Wisconsin and Illinois. The Foundation’s top priority is encouraging and supporting education that engages, enriches and inspires area students to develop knowledge and skills for lifelong financial competence. This includes programs that teach students and adults how to manage money, how money works in real-world applications, and how to use money as a tool for individual and family stability and security.
