Registration Opens for AC&E; Secure Accommodations Early
The MCUL & Affiliates Annual Convention and Exposition will be reinvented for 2015 and provide an experience that encourages attendees to embrace reinvention at work, home and play.
Taking place June 4-6 at the Grand Traverse Resort and Spa near Traverse City, the agenda is full of new experiences and opportunities to engage participants with advocacy, encourage networking, promote board training and recognize attendees with honor awards in a high-impact manner. The event will be packed with memorable moments that touch the senses with amazing food, entertainment and scenery.
Attendees are being encouraged to arrive Wednesday, June 3 and to wake-up refreshed on Thursday morning to kick-off the event at the "Center Stage! Opener, Keynote and Special Guest" session at 10 a.m. Thursday also features a day of credit union advocacy, the Economic Issues Luncheon, the opening of the exhibit hall, breakout session training, the annual Membership Meeting and Leadership Summit and the CU Solutions Group Welcome Reception."
Other exciting event highlights include new Lunch and Learn Roundtables on Friday, featuring topics for small-, medium- and large-asset size credit unions, as well as new board member workshops on Saturday conducted by BoardSource, a national leader in board governance training.
A Thursday- and Friday-night minimum stay is required to book accommodations at the Grand Traverse Resort and Spa (using the official hotel reservation form), and rooms are also being held at many nearby hotels just minutes away.
From an evening under the stars sampling regional beers and wines on Wednesday night, to fun and laughter with the comedy of "Back to the Future" actor/comedian Tom Wilson at the closing event Saturday, the 2015 AC&E will energize attendees to rethink and reimagine the future of credit unions through the spirit of vision and reinvention.
