MCUF Grant Showcase Snippet: Boosting the LEAF Children’s Savings Program
The Michigan Credit Union Foundation (MCUF) is a catalyst for increasing the impact and awareness of the credit union difference. Foundation grants help credit unions increase the wellbeing of people, families, businesses and communities in Michigan.
A new MCUF Grant Showcase Video highlights how an MCUF Community Enrichment Grant helped ELGA Credit Union boost the impact and awareness of the LEAF Children’s Savings Account Program. The LEAF program brings hope, a plan and funding for post-secondary educational opportunities to children and families in Lapeer County. The grant helped ELGA Credit Union fund a video being utilized by the LEAF program to build family awareness and participation, and to attract additional funding for the long-term success of the children’s savings account program.
2022 MCUF Community Enrichment Grants are available and easy to access. MCUF grants boost credit union financial wellness activities and are available to credit unions for small-and large-scale initiatives.
