MCUL CEO Patty Corkery Spreads CU Message on CMN Radiothon
On Nov. 19, 104.3 WOMC hosted the "Turn Up the Miracles" Radiothon to benefit pediatric patients of Beaumont Children’s and Children's Miracle Network (CMN). The event was presented by Community Choice Credit Union.
Donations to Children’s Miracle Networks Hospitals stay within the community where the funds are raised to provide critical treatments and health care services, pediatric medical equipment and charitable care. The efforts of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals provide more than 32 million treatments to kids each year.
During the radiothon, MCUL CEO Patty Corkery called into the show to spread the message about the Michigan credit union movement's nearly 20-year dedication to CMN Hospitals. Corkery also announced a surprise donation in the amount of $70,000.

“We are thrilled to be sponsors of the Turn Up the Miracles Radiothon,” said Community Choice Organizational Communications Manager Molly Salvi. “We see this as an opportunity to help raise awareness and support for the important work Beaumont Children’s Hospital does to care for Southeast Michigan’s children and their families. As a financial institution, we understand the toll and lasting effects healthcare has on families. If we can help Beaumont Children’s Hospital provide the highest quality care for kids, we’re certainly going to try.”
