MCUF Welcomes New Board Member
The Michigan Credit Union Foundation (MCUF) benefits from the guidance of seven trustees who generously and cooperatively share their leadership and vision to help the Foundation boost the credit union difference in Michigan.
Debi Southworth, Omni Community Credit Union, was recently elected to the MCUF Board. Southworth joins trustees Dave Brandt, ELGA Credit Union, and Brenda Lippens, Embers Credit Union (reelected this year), and current trustees Eric Esser, Community Financial Credit Union, Kyle Gurzynski, Safe Harbor Credit Union, Chrissy Siders, TRUE Community Credit Union and Renee Werth, Michigan Credit Union League.
“I am confident that Michigan credit unions and communities will benefit from the guidance of our great group of trustees, who each bring significant insight to issues and activities that align with the Foundation focus of amplifying the credit union difference in Michigan by helping to improve the financial well-being of our residents and communities” said MCUF Executive Director Beth Troost. “I want to thank our outgoing board chairperson Candy Keene, University of Michigan Credit Union, for her six years of service and leadership that has helped increase the value and the impact of the Foundation.
MCUF, funded by cooperative donations, serves as a catalyst to increase the impact and awareness of credit union community enrichment, financial education and credit union development initiatives.
The Foundation is now accepting applications for credit union Community Enrichment Grants. Learn more, donate, or apply for funding at MCUF.MCUL.org.Go to main navigation
