MSUFCU Named One of the Best Workplaces for Women by Fortune
For the third year, MSU Federal Credit Union (MSUFCU) was named in the top 100 workplaces for women by Fortune.
“We believe in giving all of our employees every opportunity to advance and succeed, because we recognize that’s how we succeed too,” said MSUFCU President/CEO April Clobes. “As a result, it makes sense to us to have robust mentoring, coaching and job-shadowing programs, among many other initiatives. While we recognize it’s important to be a great place for women to work, most importantly, we want to be a great place for everyone to work.”
In 2019, seven of nine MSUFCU executives are women, including the CEO, CFO and CIO. In addition, 12 of the credit union’s 17 assistant vice president positions are held by women, including in IT leadership, branches, call center and facilities operations. Overall, of MSUFCU’s 104 management members, 72 are women, which is greater than two-thirds (69%).
To determine the Best Workplaces for Women, Fortune research partner Great Place to Work® analyzed anonymous surveys representing more than 4.6 million U.S. employees. MSUFCU has been certified as a Great Place to Work® for six consecutive years. The Fortune list can be found here.
