Community Choice Employee Saves the Day

Last month, on Community Choice Credit Union Security Specialist Craig Medon’s way out of the office, he witnessed a car accident outside the Farmington Hills-based credit union. The driver of the impacted car, which hit a traffic light post, was severely bleeding. Using a medical bag, Medon was able to stop the bleeding while waiting for the ambulance to arrive.

“Craig puts a whole new level of BIG in his GiveBig!” said EVP/COO Dan Munro.

Before coming to the credit union, Medon had a career as a police officer and was thereby able to respond in a calm and knowledgeable fashion.

“I saw Craig first-hand rushing to action,” said president/CEO Robert Bava. “Very impressive. The police officer that showed up afterwards let Craig tend to the victim instead of intervening. Definitely a hero.”
