CUNA VAP Sessions Offered at Fall Leadership Development Conference

Credit union volunteers may now register for the MCUL & Affiliates Fall Leadership Development Conference, happening Sept. 13-15 at the Grand Traverse Resort & Spa in Traverse City.

Three CUNA Volunteer Achievement Program sessions will be offered as agenda options, allowing directors and committee members to further their knowledge toward CUNA certifications.

"Strategic Planning (V404)" will help directors be better prepared to deal with a long-term future filled with potential opportunities, as well as threats. "The Basics of Risk Assessment for Volunteers (V305)" will offer a discussion on how to identify and determine what the supervisory committees’ priorities are regarding risk. And "Board/CEO Relations (V405)" will examine the importance of team building and the elements needed to build a strong working relationship with the credit union CEO.

Credit unions who send multiple participants receive a discount on the fifth registrant and more. Guests are also welcome to join attendees at the event.
