His first-hand account of how a fraudster used the three-step plan to defeat his team’s internal safeguards, shares how it created thousands of dollars in losses and earned him an invitation to the witness stand. - Compliance professionals, risk professionals and operations managers will be interested in the upcoming CUNA webinar, In Full Disclosure. Offered on June 25 from 12-1 p.m. (ET), the session looks at how the Membership Agreement and Disclosures set forth the legal framework that must be followed when opening and servicing member accounts. Much of this content is governed by consumer protection regulations. Providing inaccurate or incomplete disclosures can lead to examiner criticism, allegations of unfair, deceptive or abusive practices, or litigation from members.
