April CUNA Webinars

  • The FBI is on Line 2 will be a CUNA webinar topic on April 24 from noon-1 p.m. (ET). The session shares first-hand accounts from a former ACH consultant and author of a 50-page risk policy who tells how he and his team originated a fraudulent ACH file that would eventually put him on the witness stand in a federal trial. Third-party fraud is expected to skyrocket as the speed of payments continues to increase and technology takes the place of person-to-person communications. Be ready by registering for the webinar, available to CUNA affiliated credit unions for $219.
  • CUNA will offer a webinar on May 7 to explore Social Media Do’s and Don’ts. Taking place from noon-1:00 p.m. (ET) the session will discuss how social media advertising is impacted under current rules, go over the various risks associated with social media and examine the social media guidance that is out there and how it can assist when working with this medium. Registration is $219 for CUNA affiliated credit unions.
  • A Counseling Relationship and Process webinar will be hosted by CUNA on May 2 from 3-4:30 pm (ET). The training will provide communication skills and counseling techniques to build knowledge for counselors, including how communication styles, hemispheric thinking and biases affect member perceptions. The webinar is part of CUNA Financial Counseling Certification Program Part 1 which starts May 2. CUNA members gain access to the entire series for $1,395; the individual webinar is available for $219.
