Identity Theft Slated on Compliance Conference Agenda

As one of the fastest growing crimes in the United States, the topic of identity theft will be discussed during the Michigan Credit Union League’s 2019 Compliance Conference. It will explain what programs credit unions are required to have in place to help identify and prevent such theft. The conversation will include details about Red Flag/ID theft prevention programs, as well as takeaways for theft clues employees should be aware of.

Online registration has opened for the event, taking place Feb. 20-21 at the DoubleTree by Hilton--Riverfront in Bay City. Rooms are being held at a negotiated rate until Feb. 2.

The event features a vendor showcase, networking experiences and an extensive agenda including sessions on handling funds from the cannabis industry. Registration is $339 per person, with a one-day registration option of $189.
