Joleen Kortman of Honor CU Receives Worldpay Advantage Teller Appreciation Award

Joleen KortmanOn Oct. 16, Joleen Kortman, a teller at Honor Credit Union’s Paw Paw branch, received the annual Worldpay Advantage Teller Appreciation Award, which is awarded to five tellers or frontline employees for consistently going above and beyond for their organization.

The five winners were selected based on the following key areas: providing consistent and excellent customer service, considering the customer or member and their needs, positively promoting the financial intuition’s brand and products and is passionate with a winning attitude.

Kortman is a positive and driven individual who has provided exceptional member service to Honor’s members for more than two years. She lives Honor’s core values of truth, integrity, fairness and respect each day by treating her members the way she would want to be treated. Kortman also plays an active role in Honor’s Mentor Program and has used her leadership skills to mentor eight new team members in 2018 to make them comfortable and knowledgeable in their position.

“Joleen has made such big an impact on our members that one of them even named their Beagle after her,” said Sam Scafaria, Honor Credit Union Organizational Development Assistant Manager, in the nomination submission. “She is an asset to our credit union and we are excited to continue to share her positivity and passion with all of our new team members.”
