Sign Up Now for CU Lunch Local on Oct. 16
There’s no better way to show support in your community than to spend local. On Oct. 16, join Michigan Business Collection (MBC) to celebrate CU Lunch Local by supporting local small businesses during International Credit Union Week.
Participation is easy. Treat your team to lunch, pick up the morning round of coffee from your local shop or simply offer treats and beverages to your members purchased from your favorite local bakery. How you choose to celebrate is up to you and the possibilities are limitless.
CU Lunch Local isn’t just giving back to your community, it’s also a lot of fun. Get your cameras out, snap a fun selfie, eat some food and, most importantly, have fun with your team and your members. Make sure to share your photos on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter using the hashtag #CULunchLocal. Tag the Michigan Credit Union League so we can share your experience, too!
In 2017, credit unions across the United States took part, and more join every day, including the event’s first international credit union in Canada. Sign up for this year’s event here. There’s no cost involved. Those who sign up can get the official CU Lunch Local logo and recognition from CU Lunch Local organizers.
Coordinated by Jessica Richardson-Isenegger, who helped establish and coordinates the annual event on behalf of Michigan Business Connection (MBC), CU Lunch Local is hoping to sign up even more state leagues and credit unions this year. This event is a perfect way to demonstrate the impact credit unions have on the communities they serve.Go to main navigation
