CU Volunteers and CEOs: Secure Rooms Now for Fall Leadership Development Conference

Hotel rooms are being held at a negotiated rate on a first-come basis until Aug. 23 at the Turtle Creek Casino Hotel and the Grand Traverse Resort and Spa for the MCUL & Affiliates Fall Leadership Development Conference. The popular event for volunteers and CEOs takes place Sept. 14–16 near Traverse City.

Jeff Rendel, formerly a federal banking regulator, financial services executive and congressional lobbyist, will be on hand to deliver two presentations. Rendel will cover "Great Boards Ask Great Questions" to help directors represent members’ interests, ensure safety and soundness and support their CEO. He will also speak on "Mapping the Member Journey and Designing the Member Experience" for boards to understand how focusing on the member’s journey can allow a credit union to stand out and consistently deliver exceptional experiential and financial value.

The Fall Leadership Development Conference features a great selection of breakout sessions and networking opportunities, including activities for guests. A registration worksheet to distribute to attendees to complete and return to their credit unions to be registered online is available here.
