MSUFCU and LAFCU Welcome Call Center Conference Participants

This fall, MCUL & Affiliates will introduce its first-ever Call Center Conference. In the cooperative-spirit of credit unions, it will be offered with a little help from our friends. Featuring an impressive collection of nationally-renowned presenters and a powerhouse agenda of topics for both frontline staffers and managers, attendees will also have the opportunity for some experiential learning outside of the classrooms.

Both MSUFCU and LAFCU are collaborating with the League to welcome conference participants for tours of their call centers. The conference kicks off with a pre-event opportunity from 6–9 p.m. on Oct. 29 which will include dinner, networking and a tour of the call center at MSUFCU.

The next day, attendees will gather at the James B. Henry Center for Executive Development on Michigan State University’s campus for a great selection of training topics and the keynote presentation, "Best Practices from Credit Union Call Centers Across the Country." That afternoon, participants may choose to tour the call center at LAFCU as a breakout session option.

"We know attendees value real-world training that provides them access to experts and peers who have first-hand knowledge of best practices," said Renee L. Werth, MCUL’s vice president of education and events. "Visiting these two successful call centers, seeing them in action and being able to ask questions of colleagues is a tremendous opportunity that we're sure many credit unions are going to take advantage of."

Registration for the highly anticipated event is only $399 per person. Hotel accommodations are being held on a first-come basis until Sept. 29 at the Candlewood Suites, attached to The Henry Center.
