SMFCU Collects for Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center

Saginaw Medical Federal Credit Union (SMFCU) will be collecting items for the Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center Feb. 1 through Feb. 28 as part of their SMFCU Gives Back initiative. Requested items include dishes, pillows, washcloths, cleaning products and other objects to help Veterans transfer from homeless shelters to homes.

“We are extremely proud to help support our local veterans and the Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center,” said Laura Crase, SMFCU’s president/CEO. “Together, our donations can help provide a warm and safe home for our local heroes.”

Hotel rooms are being held at a negotiated rate at the Turtle Creek Casino & Hotel, just four miles from the MCUL/CUSG 2018 Annual Convention & Exposition at the Grand Traverse Resort and Spa, June 6–9. Registration is required for the conference before booking accommodations at either hotel, and a minimum three-night stay from June 6–8 is required at the Grand Traverse Resort and Spa. Room varieties are now limited at the Grand Traverse Resort and Spa, and those who find that room requests are not available are encouraged to complete the GTRS Waitlist Request Form and email it to the resort or fax it to (231) 534-6671.

Register Now for the New Leadership @ Eleven Executive Development Series

Enrollment is limited for the MCUL & Affiliates new Leadership @ Eleven executive development program. The seven month series features Jim Kasch of Canidae Consulting and Tonya Voltolina of Eleven Performance Group. Participants will complete assessments, tackle assignments, benefit from one-on-one coaching and meet three times to focus on leading themselves, leading others and leading their organizations. The event meets at GO Where Meetings Matter in Ann Arbor, The Think Space in Lansing and concludes with an overnight stay and wrap up at the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island, which is included with enrollment. Participation is on a first-come basis and attendees must enroll prior to March 22; the orientation webinar will be held March 27.
