Wildfire Credit Union “Shared the Warmth” with the Community
In late November, Wildfire Credit Union embarked on a community campaign called “Share the Warmth.” The campaign was designed to enlist the community in gathering new hats, scarves, mittens, gloves and socks for community members in need. Collection boxes were set up in the lobbies of each of the Wildfire branches and calls for donations were shared through social media and radio. Donations from an employee Jeans Day fundraiser were used to purchase more items.
“The campaign was a huge success again and we collected well over 1,000 items,” said Wildfire’s marketing and public relations coordinator Michelle LeBlanc. “Many of the items were handmade, which made them even more special.”
TLC Community Credit Union Supports Local Scouting Efforts
TLC Community Credit Union recently donated $2,500 to the Chief Lenape District of Boy Scouts of America to support operations of local scouting efforts. Over the past four years, TLC has donated a total of $10,000 to the Chief Lenape District, which serves approximately 767 youth members in Lenawee and Hillsdale Counties. TLC’s donation will help provide access to local camps, programs and leadership to ensure the best scouting experience. As a former Cub Scout and Boy Scout, TLC’s president and CEO Randy Smith is pleased that TLC is in a position to assist local kids with education and support.Go to main navigation
