  • On Nov. 30, CUNA will deliver a webinar on Poverty's Impact on Collections: Understanding How Some of Your Members Live. Those who haven't grown up in poverty, are likely unaware of the “hidden rules” that govern many aspects of life for the poor. People in poverty are often in survival mode, where the future holds no promise and the support systems taken for granted in middle class and wealth are nonexistent. Having a deeper understanding of these challenges and strengths may assistn credit unions in supporting members dealing with poverty and create opportunities for delinquency improvement. The webinar takes place from noon-1:30 p.m. (ET) and is available for $219 for affiliated members.
     
  • Liquidity and Funding Risk will be covered during a Nov. 30 webinar being offered by CUN from 3-4:30 p.m. (ET). Attendees will learn how to identify, manage and control liquidity risk, understand the critical elements in operational and contingency liquidity, establish best practices when forecasting cash flow needs and sources, as well as review external funding and asset liquidation options. The webinar is priced at $219 for CUNA-affiliated credit unions.
