AC&E: INSIDE CU Human Resources; Opportunity to Send an Attendee for Free
Already registered to send a credit union employee or volunteer to attend the full MCUL/CUSG Annual Convention & Exposition? If so, be sure to take advantage of the opportunity to send another employee for free to INSIDE CU Human Resources, being held on Thursday, June 8, in conjunction with the AC&E.
Providing Insights-Networking-Solutions-Information-Direction and Examples, the one-day session will cover "Diversity Dynamics," "Ohhhh, I Want to Work There," "Creating an Environment for Motivated Employees," "HR Strategy is Credit Union Strategy" and "HR Analytics: Where to Start and How to Take it to the Next Level."
Taking place from 9:15 a.m.–4:15 p.m., the new INSIDE CU Human Resources session is a stand-alone workshop available for $129 per person, with registration including access to the AC&E exposition hall and the CUSG Welcome Reception. Any AC&E registrant may also attend INSIDE CU Human Resources as a breakout session option.
There is still time to register for the AC&E, being held June 7–10 at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel & DeVos Place in downtown Grand Rapids. In addition to credit unions qualifying for one complimentary admission to INSIDE CU Human Resources, the AC&E boasts another huge training value opportunity.
A new two-part session on "Leveraging the Credit Union Difference," takes place on June 10, from 10:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. with Mark Lynch from the National Credit Union Foundation. While registration is required, there is no charge for any Michigan credit union employee or volunteer to attend the session, which will explore the important role that “the credit union difference” can have on the success of credit unions. Examples of why it is important to retain this strong business model will be shared, along with why it is vital for credit unions to find the right balance between their social and business missions.
Registration to the AC&E is only $339 per person for the full conference and $284 per person for the sixth or more attendee from the same credit union. One- and two-day registration options are also available, along with registration categories for guests.
