- CUNA will host a webinar on MBL Considerations for Members Wishing to Purchase an Existing Business on Feb. 28. Taking place from noon–1:30 p.m. (ET), the session will review how businesses are getting sold by those who have either inherited or built those businesses over the last generation or more. The webinar will address the advantages and disadvantages of purchasing an existing business, from both the borrower’s and lender’s perspective. - Keeping Track of the Credit Union Through Financial Statements will be the topic of a Supervisory Committee Academy webinar being led by consultant Tim Harrington on Feb. 22. It is essential that supervisory committee members and directors understand how a credit union is performing financially. Harrington will help attendees understand financial reports to detect strengths, weaknesses, declines and other important signs. The session takes place from 2-3 p.m. (ET) and is available for $249.
