  • CUNA is offering a webinar on How to Boost Hispanic Membership Growth on Feb. 15, from 2–3 p.m. (ET). Midwestern states are discovering just as many opportunities for engagement with their own growing numbers of Hispanic residents, and some states have already experienced explosive growth rates and now count Hispanics among one of the largest, fastest-growing and youngest groups. Participants will discover a proven approach to becoming the Hispanic market’s preferred financial institution and explore available resources to help credit unions best reach and serve the Hispanic community. Registration is $219 for CUNA affiliated credit unions.
     
  • Zero to 200 in Sixty Seconds: Preparing for Critical Situations is the topic of a Feb. 16 webinar being presented by CUNA. Every credit union security officer and member of senior management has that one critical situation that they hope they never have to experience. However, the reality is that those situations do happen and can happen to any credit union, regardless of size. Take this time to consider how to be best prepared for a critical situation. The session takes place from 1–2:30 p.m. (ET) and is priced at $219 for credit unions affiliated with CUNA.
     
  • The Supervisory Committee Academy (TM) will offer a webinar on Keeping Track of the Credit Union through Financial Statements, on Wednesday, Feb. 22 from 2–3 p.m. (ET). Available for $249, the session will make keeping track of a credit union’s financial health easy by understanding the key ratios to monitor and will explain how to evaluate financial strength and stability, and if it is falling short. Industry consultant Tim Harrington will conduct the training.
