Watch the Mail for Spring Leadership Development Conference Materials
Michigan credit union CEOs will be receiving information in the mail to share about the MCUL & Affiliates 2017 Spring Leadership Development Conference, ideal for CEOs and volunteers. Taking place April 28–30 at the Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort in Mount Pleasant, the event will feature an increased focus on fraud issues.
The keynote presentation, "Horror Stories from the Board Room," will be delivered by David Reed, well-respected industry consultant, attorney and author. His discussion will include the current state of credit union governance and how to avoid some of the most common landmines.
Other presentations on the agenda include "Bank Secrecy Act Training for Board Members" and "Supervisory Committee Role in the Exam Process."
Guests are encouraged to join attendees at the event, where an off-site outing is planned to Mt. Town Station Brewery, and for a tour of the Alden B. Dow Home and Studio. Guests are also welcome to the complimentary networking event on April 28, and may purchase meal tickets and attend the Saturday night dinner featuring music and dancing.
Registration is $399 per person and discounts are available for five or more attendees.
