Michigan Credit Union League

Three Leaders, Three Topics, Limitless Opportunity for Development

Labor day has come and gone, making it back-to-school time in Michigan! With summertime vacation schedules completed, too, now is the perfect opportunity to sign-up staff for Intentional CU Leadership. This event is ideal for supervisors, managers and emerging leaders.

Offering a new approach in training, attendees complete a pre-event Individual Development Plan to bring with them. Three highly-respected industry experts will each present brief, 18-minute topics in the morning, then participants decide who they want to follow and work with for the balance of the day:

  • Tim Harrington, author and consultant, “Five Habits of the Most Productive Leaders”
  • Kevin Smith, publisher and consultant, “Change Agent Leadership”
  • Mark Arnold, expert in branding, training and strategic marketing, “Transformational Leadership: Morphing Into a Mentor”

Intentional CU Leadership is ideal for staffers from throughout the credit union who want to keep their careers moving forward regardless of where they are on the leadership continuum.

The training will prepare staff to deal with tougher and tougher issues as the world becomes more complex, while providing tools for being purposeful in all they do-personally and professionally.

The event takes place at the Downtown Market Grand Rapids on Sept. 28, with a pre-event activity at the same location on Sept. 27.
