- CUNA will host Mortgage Loan Originator training in Lathrup Village on Oct. 18 at Michigan First CU. The session will provide compliance training for the rules issued by the CFPB pursuant to Dodd-Frank amended Regulation Z. The eight-hour MLO training is approved by the National Mortgage Licensing Association and covers federal and state law requirements that relate to the individual loan originator's origination activities. Registration is $299 for affiliated CUNA members and $598 for non-members.
- Understanding and Improving Cash Flow will be the topic of a CUNA webinar on Aug. 16 from 2-3:30 p.m. (ET). One of the first steps in counseling a member is analyzing their financial condition, which includes, but is not limited to their: credit score, credit report, cash flow, debt ratio, net worth, character, credit and capacity. In this session, attendees will explore financial basics, specifically what the basics can tell you about a member’s fiscal history and how this information can be utilized to help the member increase their cash flow in the future. Registration is $219 for affiliated CUNA members.
