Lessons Learned: Internal Controls; Topic at Executive Summit
The MCUL & Affiliates Executive Summit provides credit union CEOs a change of scenery and a perfect setting for some serious think-time. This year, the event heads to The Inn at Bay Harbor, recently named a Marriott Autograph Collection hotel, where CEOs may retreat to relax and network. Executives can count on leaving with their heads full of ideas, inspirations and resources.
Kicking-off on Sept. 14 with optional tee-times at the Bay Harbor Golf Club, the event continues through Friday, Sept. 16 with quality networking experiences for the state's top credit union executives.
Of particular interest will be a session on "Lessons Learned: Internal Controls" with Doug Roossien, a risk management consultant with CUNA Mutual Group, followed by a Q&A panel discussion with peers and experts. The session will highlight common credit union loss scenarios, identify key warning signs to look for and provide checks and balances that should be implemented to hold individuals accountable for their actions and limit the potential impact of employee dishonesty.
Attendees are encouraged to book accommodations early for the widest selection of room choices.Go to main navigation
