  • The UP Compliance Update will be held on June 23 at the Hampton Inn Marquette/Waterfront. Topics to be covered include, "With So Much Change, Be Sure to Stay Up to Date," "Fair Credit Reporting Act Overview," "Internal Fraud," "Cybersecurity" and "Compliance Helpline Top Issues and FAQs."   • On June 8 the Supervisory Committee Academy will present a webinar on Key Internal Controls Supervisory Committees Should Know and Watch For and on July 12 delivering the Five Things the Supervisory Committee Needs to Know About Compliance. Each session takes place at 2 p.m. (ET) and registration is $249.
     
  • The INSIDE Credit Union Compliance Workshop is being held June 9 at the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center and any credit union that sends a full conference attendee to the MCUL/CUSG Annual Convention and Exposition qualifies for complimentary registration for one other attendee to register for this separate one-day conference. Agenda topics include "What’s on the Horizon? Proposed Rules/Rulemaking Agenda," "Michigan State Law Update," "How to Effectively Train Board of Directors: Bank Secrecy Act" and "Getting the Most Out of League InfoSight Products." The educational investment for INSIDE Credit Union Compliance is $129 per person. Registration also includes access to the Exposition hall and to the CU Solutions Group Welcome Reception.
