Perlman Leads Social Media Overload Workshop at Marketing Conference

Well-admired author and social media expert Corey Perlman is slated to present a two-part workshop at the MCUL & Affiliates 2015 Lending and Marketing Conference, being held Feb. 10-11 at the MotorCity Casino Hotel in Detroit.


The session is based on Perlman's best-selling book, Social Media Overload! and will include actionable takeaways that attendees can use immediately to grow credit union business. The first-half of the workshop will include live website reviews, that will look at the importance of responsive design, a strong value proposition and many more insider tips.

Part two of the workshop will cover "8 Critical Mistakes to Avoid Sabotaging Social Media Efforts" and will help attendees define the results that can be expected from social media and which sites can help get there. Perlman will explain how to stop getting outperformed on Google by the competition, about credibility-diminishing websites, avoiding the misuse of Facebook, the advantages of using LinkedIn as a sales tool and how the fastest growing social network in the world is becoming Instagram.

Registration for the event is $360 per person for the full-conference and $199 per person for a single day. The social media workshop is included in registration and takes place on Feb. 11.
