Alloya's Founding CEO Charles Furbee Passes at 81
Charles “Chuck” Furbee, III, the former CEO of Alloya Corporate Federal Credit Union, died at home on July 29 in Naperville, Illinois at the age of 81.
Furbee was Alloya’s founding CEO, serving from 2010 to 2013 before retiring. In addition to his service at Alloya, Furbee was a U.S. Marine Corps Vietnam War veteran and a former Senior Vice President at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago.
“Chuck was a great man and a mentor to many of us. He was a strong leader who listened first, processed information and then took decisive action,” said Alloya CEO Todd Adams. “He will be greatly missed.”
