MCUF Joins CU Broadcast on Smart Money MI Kids Read
Michigan Credit Union Foundation (MCUF) Executive Director Beth Troost recently joined the CU Broadcast program, alongside Kelly Masters, founder of Michigan Financial Wellness Network, and Blake Woods, VP of innovation for Community Financial Credit Union, to discuss $mart Money MI Kids Read Program. This year marked the 10th anniversary of the program.
MCUF provided funding for 21,000 books this year, donated on behalf of Michigan credit unions, and more than 200 Michigan libraries across the state participated. Local credit unions partnered with libraries for most of these story time and financial education events.
