Alpena Alcona Area Credit Union Donates $17K to Northeast Michigan Organizations
Alpena Alcona Area Credit Union (AAACU) recently made donations to 34 organizations throughout Northeast Michigan.
Twice a day, for 17 days, AAACU highlighted two organizations throughout Northeast Michigan to be a recipient of a $500 donation from the credit union.
These organizations and agencies were selected by AAACU and merger partner Calcite Credit Union for the impact and efforts they provide to the community and its members.
Funds from these donations were from AAACU’s community Investment fund, which are dollars donated back into our communities from the credit union pledging to donate $0.75 a month/$9.00 a year for each member enrolled to receive electronic statements.
