22nd Annual ASFM Golf Outing Benefiting the Michele Myrick ASFM Defense Fund Scholarship The A Stronger Financial Michigan (ASFM) Defense Fund Board of Trustees is proud to announce the 22nd Annual ASFM Golf Outing. ASFM was established by the Michigan Credit Union League & Affiliates to provide resources for issue advocacy campaigns as well as to benefit grassroots advocacy through the Michele Myrick ASFM Defense Fund Scholarship. A portion of the proceeds from the annual golf outing are used to provide financial assistance to credit union officials willing to participate in the CUNA Governmental Affairs Conference and Hike the Hill grassroots lobbying trips to Washington, D.C. Come and enjoy a day of golfing with credit union officials from around the state. The outing will be held at Forest Akers West Golf Course on the campus of Michigan State University in East Lansing - ranked one of the best collegiate facilities in the nation. The ASFM Defense Fund is a 501(c)(6), as registered with the IRS. ASFM can accept corporate contributions, and contributions are not deductible for federal income tax purposes.
