UNION FOUNDATION

The Michigan Credit Union Foundation is a non-
profit organization that cooperatively empowers 2021 MCUF INITIATIVES
credit unions to increase financial wellbeing
by supporting financial education, community
enrichment and credit union development 14
initiatives. The Foundation is entirely funded by
donations from the credit union industry.
Community
To realize its mission, MCUF is guided by three areas Enrichment Grants:
of focus: Member and Community Outreach, Credit $57,258
Union Development and Awareness & Fundraising.

MEMBER AND COMMUNITY ENRICHMENT
Improving the financial health of Michigan families 63
and communities through credit union initiatives. Professionals from
MCUF Community Enrichment Grants increase 28 credit unions
the impact of credit union and chapter community
enrichment and financial wellbeing programs. became CUNA-
MCUF statewide coordinated initiatives provide certified financial
financial wellness resources for Michigan families counselors in 2021
and schools.

Training and networking opportunities to help
Michigan credit unions improve people’s financial Young Professional
