Financial Health Workshop – Registration Now Open!
The Michigan Credit Union Foundation (MCUF) is wrapping up this year’s Michigan Enhanced Financial Counselor Training Program with an in-person Financial Health Workshop. The workshop is open to all current and previous year participants of the financial counselor program, credit union financial educators, and anyone interested in learning more about financial health and well-being.
Attendees of the workshop will participate in The ALICE Experience, a poverty simulation put on by the United Way of Midland County, learn from several education sessions, idea and resource sharing, and partaking in an optional one-on-one financial counselor training at the end of the event.
The workshop will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 4, beginning at 9:00 am, at The Henry Center in Lansing. The event is free of charge for attendees with funding from the Michigan Credit Union Foundation, and event sponsors GreenPath Financial Wellness and TruStage.
