MCUL CEO Appointed as AACUL Board Member
The American Association of Credit Union Leagues (AACUL) Executive Board has announced its appointment of MCUL CEO Patty Corkery to its board.
AACUL is the national association for the state and regional credit union leagues/associations throughout the United States. The organization’s mission is to cultivate the success of individual leagues as well as the collective league system by supporting league efforts to advocate, communicate, collaborate and influence policy on behalf of credit unions nationwide.
"I am really honored to serve in this new role, and I thank the AACUL Executive Board for this appointment,” said Corkery. “In serving as MCUL’s President/CEO these last two years, I have come to fully appreciate the inter-workings of the league system and the importance of having strong state leagues, a strong national league in CUNA, and the system working together as one. As a member of the board, I will work to support and strengthen this relationship."
The board appointment is for one year, expiring at the end of 2023.
Corkery started with MCUL in 2018 as EVP/COO and General Counsel before becoming the first-ever woman to lead the League as CEO in 2021.
