MCUL Names Winner of YP Scholarship to the 2024 World Credit Union Conference
The Michigan Credit Union League (MCUL) is pleased to announce this year’s winner of the full-ride Young Professional Scholarship to attend the World Council of Credit Unions (WOCCU)’s 2024 World Credit Union Conference. Deleanna Allen, marketing manager of Public Service Credit Union (PSCU), will join fellow Michigan credit union representatives at the conference this July in Boston, Mass.
"I am honored to have been nominated and selected for this incredible opportunity!” said Allen. “Thank you to PSCU and MCUL for recognizing my potential and entrusting me with this scholarship. I am excited and looking forward to attending the World Credit Union Conference in Boston and I will make the most of this opportunity and represent the Michigan credit union movement proudly."
The World Credit Union Conference is an annual event that provides credit union professionals with the opportunity to learn and connect with colleagues from around the globe. Last year, a record 3,000 people from 60 countries were in attendance.
“MCUL is thrilled to offer Deleanna this scholarship and have her join us in Boston this year,” said MCUL President/CEO Patty Corkery. “One of our initiatives is to foster growth for our young professionals and to provide them with a path for success.
