Credit Union Investments

We need your support! The CU Link Campaign depends on investments from credit unions throughout the state. Historically, credit unions have been very generous in their support of this initiative. Fund-raising is under way, with all contributions due by January 31, 2013. Invoices for this initiative were included on the MCUL/CUNA Dues Invoice, which was mailed to CEOs on Dec. 28, 2012.

If you need a copy of your invoice, please email your League Representative. Contribution requests were calculated based on the formulas below, with consideration given to the media costs for each media market.

For the 2012 campaign, more than 60% of Michigan's credit unions contributed $984,420. A record number of credit unions, 84, contributed their full fair share or more to the campaign. For each dollar contributed by a credit union, MCUL, CUcorp and our generous vendors added an additional  $1.45, bringing the total media budget to a record $2.48 million. We are planning for an even bigger campaign in 2013.
