Innovation Expert and Wegner Awards Highlight Day Two of CUNA's GAC
Remarks from an expert on disruptive innovation and the opening of the CUNA general session were just two of the highlights from the second day of CUNA’s annual Governmental Affairs Conference (GAC) taking place in Washington this week.
More than 130 Michigan credit union professionals are part of the MCUL delegation at GAC this year, and on day two attendees heard from CUNA President and CEO Jim Nussle, as well as a host of distinguished credit union veterans during the annual Herb Wegner Memorial Awards dinner. The video below includes a sample of some of this year’s GAC excitement, along with testimonials from a pair of Michigan credit union representatives on the important role that this event plays in shaping legislation and regulation that impacts credit unions.
