In 2010, Jim Kasch launched Darden Employees Federal Credit Union (DCU), which served the 200,000 employees of Darden Restaurants, Inc. (The Olive Garden, Longhorn Steakhouse, The Capital Grille, et al.) More than half of those employees are Millennials.
Over five years, DCU developed strategies, products, services and delivery channels to serve Millennial members. Membership in the credit union grew 400%, assets grew 400%, loans grew 600% and income grew 800%.
Now Jim is sharing is passion and knowledge to help other credit unions understand how to relate to and serve this unique audience. In 2015 he launched Canidae Consulting to work more directly with credit unions in order to prepare them to capture this exciting Millennial opportunity.Go to main navigation
