Collecting More Matters! Attendees Gain Tips and Tools for Reducing Charge-Offs

Even after bankruptcy reform, consumer bankruptcy remains high, making it continually important for credit unions to reach out to members before they have repayment trouble, while also assisting and assuring the credit union minimizes costly charge-offs.

MCUL & Affiliates is hosting two Collector's Training Schools in May, in collaboration with the Collections Consortium, to empower collectors with new ideas, tools and tactics to make the most of the collections process.

The first Collector's Training School will be held May 2 at the Holiday Inn in Marquette and features attorney David Wolfe. The popular school then moves to The Inn at St. John's in Plymouth on May 8, with collection authority Karin Brown. Registration is $199.
