...The important issues related to Share Member Accounts will be the topic of a webinar taking place March 28 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. (EST). Facilitated by attorney Chuck Holzman, the session will discuss basic credit union share accounts including membership requirements, account terms and issues that most credit union account agreements do not adequately address, as well as recommendations to address those issues. Joint accounts and beneficiaries will be covered, along with TIS requirements, funds availability and Reg E issues. ...Credit unions are looking for loan growth, which will be the topic of an upcoming audio session on Jan. 31 on Identifying Loan Opportunities. Delivered in cooperation with the Illinois CU League, the session will help credit unions identify why loan volume is below expectations, how to address and resolve the issue, as well as ideas for internal and external assistance to generate loans. The session takes place from 11 a.m. to noon (EST) and is priced at $129 per connection. Additional details and online registration is available here.
