2013 MCUL and MCUF Awards – Call for Nominations
Hard-working, self-sacrificing, dedicated to the cause. These are just a few of the words often used to describe credit union professionals. Now is the chance to recognize those tireless individuals and outstanding organizations with the 2013 MCUL and Michigan CU Foundation awards.
Nominations for the awards are now open and will be sought for the following categories:
- Credit Union Professional of the Year
- Distinguished Service Award
- Outstanding Credit Union of the Year Award
- MCUL Chapter Effectiveness Award
- Young Professional of the Year Award
- Credit Union Youth Advocate of the Year
- Award for Excellence in Consumer Education
- Credit Union Community Volunteer
- International Credit Union Development (ICUD)
The winners of the CU Professional of the Year, Distinguished Service and Outstanding CU of the Year Awards will each receive a $5,000 scholarship to a Michigan college or university to designate to a student of his or her choosing, or a donation to a Michigan-based charity of choice.
The winner of the MCUF’s CU Community Volunteer Award will have the honor of selecting a Michigan college student to receive the Foundation’s $5,000 Woodman-Wilde Memorial Scholarship.
Anyone associated with an affiliated credit union can submit a nomination. The entire process can now be completed online with the capability of uploading supporting nomination documentation.
These prestigious awards will be given out at a special breakfast presentation at the 2013 AC&E in May.
